MSDE Revises Minimum Stipend Rates for Apprentices under Apprenticeship Rules, 1992

The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, has announced a revision in the minimum stipend rates payable to apprentices under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. The revised rates were notified through Gazette Notification G.S.R. 610(E), dated 3rd September 2025, and have come into effect from 11th September 2025.

This significant update ensures better financial support to apprentices across industries, thereby encouraging more youth to participate in apprenticeship programs and gain hands-on practical training for their career growth.
